Activities

Due to legal constraints we are unable to take the children on excursions that require transport. So we arrange for incursions to occur instead. Special events will be organised for the children during the year. These may include visits by farmyards, the children's museum community workers, performers and picnics. These will be planned in conjunction with the children's programme. These have been offered without an additional cost to families.

Some previous incursions have been:

• The Hatch 'n' Grow program - Children observe baby ducks hatching and helping to care for them
• CSIRO Early Learners Science Lab - Children participate in a hands on experience with different activities and interactive demonstrations
• Taronga Mobile Zoo - Children participate in an exciting hands on nature experience.
• The Wildlife Man
• Emergency services
• Postman
• Tadpoles / worm farm / insects
